Frank & Julia's New Home | Boston LGBTQ+ Photographer
I always love doing a session that is unique and different than the average session. My friends Julia and Frank bought a house in February, and wanted to get some great spring shots of their beautiful house and backyard with their pups. When I saw their yard, I was all in! It’s more than double the size of most suburban backyards and full of great spots for photos.
As you might guess, dogs are not the easiest photo subjects, especially when there are two of them. Winston and Tali were way too excited when I arrived, so we started off with just some photos of Julia and Frank in their yard. We lucked out and got a beautiful evening with perfect light.
Thankfully the pups were easily lured in with treats. Tali is a little camera shy, but even she couldn’t resist food.
I can’t help but get those glamour shot close ups. Anyone who has ever let me spend time with their pet knows that I love to make them look as awesome as their owners.
We let the dogs run free for the rest of the session and I love that they occasionally decided to make an appearance. These four are such a cute crew.
And if you made it to the end of this blog post, you get my favorite part. After they booked the session, Julia and Frank found out they were having not one, but two babies! They have twin boys arriving at the end of the summer, so I wanted to give them a few shots to remember this exciting (and maybe terrifying) time in their lives. I am so thrilled for their growing family and I can’t wait to meet those little ones!
